KERN COUNTY, Ca. – A death investigation underway after Kern County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were flagged down when human remains were located in a field.
On Sunday, May 26, 2019, at around 1:30 p.m., when deputies in the Lost Hills area were alerted to the human remains in a field north of Weiser Road, west of Lost Hills Road. Deputies called homicide detectives, who confirmed that the remains were human. The Coroner took custody of the remains and will determine the identity and cause of death.
