Husband Imprisons and Threatens to Kill Disabled Wife
VICTORVILLE-A Victorville man threatens to kill and imprisons his disabled elderly wife after locking her in a room and holding a knife to her neck.
On January 3, 2017, at Sueno Lane in Victorville deputies were dispatched to a report of an elderly woman being held against her will by her husband, later identified as Ruben Contreras Bill, 62 a resident of Victorville. Bill and his wife are physically disabled and use walkers. On this particular day, an argument ensued and Bill took his wife to a bedroom where he pushed her out of her walker onto the ground. He then put his wife back in the walker, pulled out a knife and held it against her neck, and then threatened to kill her.
Deputies made entry to the bedroom where Bill had his wife imprisoned. Bill was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center. Bill was charged with false imprisonment, inflicting corporal injury on a spouse, threatening a crime, and attempted murder.
