RIVERSIDE – An ex-employee of a Riverside pizza restaurant was arrested for threatening to shoot people as they left the business Friday evening. At around 5:45 p.m. officers responded to the restaurant in the 100 block of Alessandro Boulevard about a male suspect making threats to shoot people.
When officers arrived they learned that the suspect was a former employee and he had been calling making the threats. An extensive area check was done and the suspect, later identified as John Shokralla, 38, of Riverside was located near University and Iowa Avenues.
Shokralla was booked into jail for threats to commit a crime of violence.
