RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Riverside police are asking for information about an incident that occurred on Friday evening that left a male victim fighting for his life.
At around 6:19 p.m. a 911 call was made reporting that medical aid was needed in the 7400 block of El Sol Way, in the Casa Blanca neighborhood of Riverside for a man who was unconscious. Riverside Fire Department arrived and found the man unconscious and unresponsive. His condition deteriorated very quickly and they began lifesaving measures in an attempt to preserve his life. Several residents from the area were uncooperative and evasive about what led to the injuries. Riverside Police responded to the scene to conduct an investigation.
The man was transported to a local hospital where it was determined that he sustained major head trauma. The man was listed in grave condition.
Detectives from the Robbery – Homicide Unit and Gang Unit responded to assist in this incident due to the nature of the victim’s injuries. They attempted to conduct follow-up investigation at the location but the residents remained uncooperative.
This investigation is still ongoing and there are no other details available at this time, but detectives are seeking the public’s help in this incident.
