APPLE VALLEY – The Town of Apple Valley is announcing their Christmas tree lighting, marking the beginning of the holiday season on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Children and adults alike will experience the magic of Santa flipping the switch to light up the giant Christmas tree. The magic of the season will be captured with falling snow, live entertainment, free hot chocolate, and free ornaments will be available while supplies last.
The event will begin at the Town Hall located at 14955 Dale Evans Parkway at 5:00 p.m. A Penny A Kiss will provide holiday entertainment with the A Dancers Point holiday dancers. Santa will make his grand entrance by fire engine, thanks to the Apple Valley Fire Protection District, at approximately 5:50 p.m.
The event will culminate with the lighting of the “Grand Tree of Lights”, which is located between the Town Hall and the Development Services Building at 6:00 p.m. Admission and parking are both free.
