Kern County Sheriff’s Department Needs Help Locating Missing Elderly Woman

The Kern County Sheriff’s department is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing mentally handicapped woman.

Leda Belle Granthoover, 73, has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old child and has not been since Saturday, November 3, 2018, at around 9:30 p.m. Leda was at her home in the Oildale area. She is a White woman who is around 5’10 to 6’ tall and weighs around 200 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a teal jacket and black pants.
