COACHELLA, Ca. – An 18-year-old La Quinta man was arrested for attempting to meet with a 14-year-old girl for the purpose of engaging in specific sexual acts.
At around 2:55 a.m. deputies responded to a home in the 50000 block of Calle Tolosa in the City of Coachella for a request for service. Authorities learned that an adult male was attempting to meet with a female minor for lewd purposes. It was learned through investigation that the man, later identified as Jonathan Joseph Munoz attempted to meet with the female in order to participate in specific sex acts.
Munoz was contacted in the 54000 block of Avienda Alvarado in the City of La Quinta and arrested at the location with incident. He was booked at the Indio Jail for arranging to meet with a minor for lewd purposes. This investigation is on-going.
