ADELANTO- A Strong Arm Robbery suspect is finally arrested after accosting and threatening the life of a local liquor store owner.
On January 1st at 7:17pm San Bernardino County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the 11400 block of Chamberlaine St. deputies were told that a male who was later identified as Ronald Lee Mack, age 44 of Adelanto was asked to leave Michael’s Liquor and Gas.
It was explained to Deputies that Mack yelled at the owner of the store, shoved him into the doors and left without paying for his merchandise.
On Wednesday, June 1st at 3:38pm deputies again were dispatched to the same location but this time, deputies were told that an employee of Michael’s Liquor and Gas was threatened by Mack, the same male suspect responsible for the incident on January 1st. Mack threatened to kill the owner of Michael’s Liquor and Gas because he would not let him keep the store door open.
On Saturday, August 6th a Victor Valley Sheriff’s Deputy working for the City of Adelanto was dispatched to Michael’s Liquor and Gas with a report of seeing strong-arm robbery suspect Ronald Lee Mack at the location.
Once deputies arrived at the location they were directed to a nearby apartment complex where they located and arrested the strong-arm suspect, Ronald Lee Mack. Mack was booked at the High Desert Detention center and charged with robbery and criminal threats with bail set at $100,000.
