RIVERSIDE – A 25-year-old man was caught with a stolen vehicle after a LoJack notification alerted police of the location. On Monday, September 18, 2017, at around 6:30 p.m., the officer patrolling near 9th Street and Victoria Avenue in the City of Riverside received the notification of the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was reported stolen out of the City of Moreno Valley.
The officer followed the signal to Bordwell Park in the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard. He drove into the parking lot and saw the suspect, identified as Justin Young, 25, of Moreno Valley exiting the vehicle. Young was contacted by the officer and was detained without incident. Young was booked into jail for the possession of a stolen vehicle.
