CHINO – A 39-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested for pimping from a Chino medical building authorities said.
Multiple Backpage.com advertisements of multiple victims advertising prostitution from the location led the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force to begin surveillance of the commercial medical building in the 12500 block of 10th Street in the City of Chino on Thursday.
During the surveillance, investigators observed a high volume of men going to and from the business location. Through further investigation, it was determined that victims were being trafficked for the purpose of sex inside the location. A search warrant was obtained for the location.
The search warrant was served and two victims inside the location. Two suspects who were believed to be at the location to pay for sex were detained and released pending investigation. Luis Lopez was determined to be the prime suspect in the trafficking of the victims and was taken into custody, cited and released.
