HESPERIA – A 32-year-old man was airlifted after being stabbed on Friday. Per scanner traffic, the male victim went to a home on the 8000 block of Madera Avenue in the City of Hesperia just before 1:00 a.m. with stab wounds to his stomach and the back of his head. The man told the reporting party that his girlfriend stabbed him at a different location.
The extent of the male victim’s injuries are unknown at this time. The man was transported to the Hesperia Airport in preparation for airlift to a trauma hospital for the treatment of his injuries.
The Hesperia Sheriff’s spokeswoman could only confirm that there was a stabbing and the victim was airlifted for treatment. “This is a fluid investigation, I don’t have any other information I can release at this time as it may compromise the investigation,” Hesperia Sheriff’s Station spokeswoman Karen Hunt.
