Man Airlifted After Victorville Stabbing, Suspect Remains at Large

VICTORVILLE – A male suspect is wanted for a stabbing in the 15700 block of La Cubre Drive on Saturday evening.

At 6:04 p.m. deputies from the Victorville station and emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene to find a male victim with at least two stab wounds to his leg and torso. Witnesses told deputies that a white man, with a black shirt, and dark-colored pants, stabbed the victim with an unknown type of knife.

The suspect, according to witnesses left the scene west through a desert area on a BMX-style bicycle. Deputies conducted an area check with the assistance of the Sheriff’s helicopter but called off the search when they were unable to locate the suspect. The victim was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center to be airlifted to a trauma center for the treatment of the injuries sustained.
