DESERT HOT SPRINGS – A Blythe man and Desert Hot Springs woman were arrested for a residential burglary late Friday morning. At around 11:35 a.m. police responded to a home in the 9100 block of Calle De Vecinos in Desert Hot Springs for a burglary in progress. The homeowner, who was watching on surveillance from a different location alerted police to the male and female forced entry into the home.
Officers arrived at the home and made contact with the suspects inside the home, detaining them without incident. Both suspects were found to have property from inside the home in their possession. Wesley Patterson, 28 and Tara Hinsdale, 34, were arrested and booked into jail for 1st Degree Burglary and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.
