APPLE VALLEY, Ca. – An Apple Valley man was arrested for the murder of his wife on Saturday morning.
On Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 8:13 a.m. deputies from the Apple Valley station responded to the 21800 block of Goshute Avenue in the Town of Apple Valley for a welfare check. When they arrived they found the female resident, Gionbeth Oladapo, deceased inside a bedroom of the home. Deputies began searching for her husband, Olatokunbo Dumotein “David” Oladapo, who they believed were responsible for the injuries leading to her death.
Homicide detectives responded to assume the investigation and also began searching for the suspect. At around 10:50 a.m. the suspect was found during a Loma Linda traffic stop. Olatokunbo Dumotein “David” Oladapo was arrested for murder and transported to Sheriff’s Headquarters to be interviewed. He was subsequently booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
