An Ohio man is behind bars after a shocking display of child abuse posted to social media.
The shocking photos were shared throughout social media platforms, including Facebook. Shortly after, on July 21, 2020, the Clark County (Ohio) Sheriff’s Department was made aware of the photos showing a 20-year-old black man kneeling on the neck of a toddler. On the photo he put, “blm now, mf” referencing the Black Lives Matter movement, which was created to protect and fight for the rights of black Americans.
Sheriff’s officials immediately began an investigation to determine the location and incidents involved in the incident. Through investigation they learned where the photo was taken and they made contact with the mother, child and the suspect, later identified as Isaiah Jackson. Jackson was learned to be on parole at the time of the photo. Jackson was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Clark County Jail.
The 2-year-old male child was checked at the hospital and did not have any injuries. “A subsequent interview with the mother revealed that she was unaware of the photo having been taken, or its contents, until she had been informed by other parties while the Sheriff’s Office was en route to her home to begin the investigation into this incident,” Sheriff’s officials said. The investigation is ongoing. The other person(s) involved in this incident have not yet been identified. The relationship between the mother and Jackson has not yet been released.
