VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A male suspect was arrested after stealing a vehicle from Tri-City Smog on Thursday morning.
At around 9:30 a.m. deputies from the Victorville station responded to the downtown area of Victorville for the report of a vehicle theft. The caller stated that an unknown man took a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado truck from the smog shop, located at 16745 S. D Street. “Deputies located the vehicle being driven in the area and a short vehicle pursuit ensued.” said Victorville Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.
The suspect stopped in the area of 7th and B Street. He was taken into custody.
