Man Arrested for Possession of Stolen Vehicle and Drug Possession

EASTVALE – A 20-year-old Anaheim man was arrested when he was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle in the Eastvale area on Wednesday morning. At around 8:23a.m. an open garage door was reported at a home in the 14400 block of Campfire Place in the City of Eastvale.  Soon after, a second report was made about a suspicious truck with a male inside at the same home. Deputies arrived and made contact with the man identified as, Matthew Russell Kundrat. Inside of the truck, which was reported to be stolen from Anaheim on September 17, 2016, was a remote control from the residence on Campfire place as well as illegal drugs.

Deputies arrived and made contact with the man identified as, Matthew Russell Kundrat. Inside of the truck, which was reported to be stolen from Anaheim on September 17, 2016, was a remote control from the residence on Campfire place as well as illegal drugs.
The remote control was reported to be stolen from a vehicle in Irvine the previous evening authorities said.  Kundrat was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center. This investigation is ongoing and we are asking anyone with additional information to contact Deputy Newman at the Jurupa Valley Station at 951-955-2600.
