VICTORVILLE, CA. – A Las Vegas man was arrested after throwing his girlfriend from a moving truck, authorities said.
On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at around 12:52 p.m. dispatchers received a report that a bleeding 32-year-old woman arrived at the reporting party’s home in the 15300 block of Tokay Street in the City of Victorville. The reporting party said that the victim told him that her boyfriend had pushed her from a vehicle during an argument.
When the deputy arrived he learned that the boyfriend, Neason Jerrel McClain, 25, of Las Vegas pushed her from the vehicle as he drove. The victim got up and ran, but McClain ran after her and punched her multiple times in her face and body before fleeing the scene. The victim ran to a nearby home for help. She declined medical treatment at the scene.
Additional deputies arrived at the scene to assist, while the suspect vehicle description was broadcasted. One of the deputies spotted the vehicle, a 2008 Nissan Titan as it drove northbound on the 15 freeway. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver kept driving. The deputy pursued the vehicle, which eventually stopped on D Street and the 15 freeway but the suspect ran from the vehicle.
Despite an extensive search, the suspect was not located. At 5:09 p.m. a woman at the Motor Haven Mobile Home Park, located in the 16300 block of D Street reported that she had just returned from work and a man ran from her home. A deputy responded to the location and determined that the man was McClain. He was transported to the police department for questioning and was arrested.
