VICTORVILLE – A Rosemead man was arrested after a search was done at a home in the City of Victorville. On Wednesday, January 4, 2017, just after 9:00 a.m. deputies and detectives served a search warrant in the 14600 block of Indian Wells Drive. During the search, investigators discovered 203 marijuana plants in the home that was converted into a marijuana grow facility.
At the location, they also located lighting systems, chemicals typically used in marijuana growth process, and other equipment. An illegal electrical bypass unit was located inside the garage of the residence. Fuchun Xuan, a 63-year-old Rosemead man was inside the home and authorities said that it appeared as though he was staying there.
Xuan was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for utility service theft and for the marijuana cultivation. He is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Friday afternoon.
