MENIFEE – A 28-year-old Fallbrook man was arrested on Wednesday for the transport and possession of drugs, officials said, At around 1:00 a.m. the Menifee Police Special Enforcement Team (SET) witness a 2016 white Ford F250 commit a vehicle code infraction.
Deputies conducted a stop in the area of Antelope Road and Scott Road in the City of Menifee. Daniel Ramos was the sole occupant of the truck at the time of the stop. For undisclosed reasons, a Sheriff’s K-9 unit was called to the scene to search the truck. The trained K-9 alerted deputies to a backpack that was found to be carrying 6 pounds of methamphetamine. 3 ounces of heroin and counterfeit cash.
Ramos was arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center for transportation and possession of methamphetamine and heroin for sales.
