VICTORVILLE – At around 8:10 p.m. on Wednesday night a woman walked into the Victor Valley Mall, according to witnesses; limping and visibly shaken due to an altercation in the mall parking lot. “It looks like a male and female got into an argument with her not wanting to stay the night with him,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “He had given her a cell phone and wanted it back.”
The woman refused to return the cell phone so the male subject took her bags and left the scene. She located the male subject, still at the mall and confronted him leading to a physical altercation. “They ended up giving each other’s property back and the male left,” said Rodriguez. The woman decided that she only wanted to be left alone and did not want to pursue the matter. No one received medical aid at the scene or was transported as a result of the incident and no arrest was made.
