NORWALK, Calif. – The man who left a shotgun in the backseat of a vehicle leading to an accidental shooting leaving the mother of a four-year-old boy injured was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office said that on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, Brandon Gilbert Ambriz, 24, of Norwalk, pleaded to one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. On January 23, 2019, the 4-year-old boy was in the backseat of a vehicle while his mother was in the driver’s seat.
