PALM SPRINGS – A man was struck and killed by a landscaping type truck that he may have been driving just prior to the accident. On Wednesday afternoon at around 1:35 p.m. Palm Springs Police Department received a call reporting a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision in the 2100 block of Casitas Way. When police arrived they located the already deceased man on the ground near the stopped truck.
Authorities believe that the truck may have accidentally struck the man after it was parked.
