RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Riverside man who lost his life after jumping from a bridge at La Sierra and the 91 freeway has been identified.
On Sunday, May 5, 2019, at around 4:20 p.m., 23-year-old Jordan Warren was seen hanging off of the bridge by motorists who called 911. When California Highway Patrol officers arrived minutes later, they spoke with Warren, attempting to talk him down safely. According to the CHP incident logs, just before 5:30 p.m., Warren jumped. Emergency medical personnel transported Warren to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased approximately 10 minutes following his jump from the bridge.
The incident caused a closure of the freeway from 4:30 to shortly after 6:00 p.m.
