MORENO VALLEY – A male victim was arrested after a domestic disturbance led to the injury of a woman in a nearby home.
On Monday, May 21, 2018, at around 3:00 a.m. officers responded to a home in the 25000 block of Sweet Grass Drive for the report of a domestic disturbance. When they arrived they learned that a man and woman were involved in a domestic dispute. The male suspect, later identified as Robert Goins, fled the location as he fired multiple rounds from a semi-automatic handgun. One round struck the victim’s home and another struck a neighbor home. The round that struck the neighbors home went through the wall and struck a woman inside the home.
The female was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. The suspect was located in the City of Fontana and was subsequently arrested for attempted murder, domestic violence, felon in possession of a firearm, and criminal threats. He is being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail
