VICTORVILLE, Ca. – The woman killed on Labor Day morning at the Victorville Motel 6 was identified by a family member.
Authorities said that a call was received reporting a physical altercation and a shooting at the motel located at 16868 Stoddard Wells Road in the City of Victorville. The report was received on Monday, September 2, 2019, at around 4:15 a.m.
When Victorville Station Deputies and emergency medical personnel arrived they located the deceased woman, later identified as 36-year-old Monica Flores near the doorway of the motel room. It is unknown if the mother of six was staying at the motel or was visiting someone at the time of the shooting.
Homicide Detectives arrived to assume the investigation. The investigation is ongoing at this time and no arrests have been made. No further information is available at this time, information will be updated as it is received.
