LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The mother of Trinity Love Jones, was extradited from Texas last week and was originally booked on an unrelated warrant, she has now been booked on suspicion of murder.
Trinity was located deceased and dumped near a Hacienda Heights equestrian trail on March 5, 2019. Her tiny 4’5”, 55-pound body was found stuffed inside of a black duffel bag with her head sticking out. It is believed that she was tossed from the road above the trail. Trinity was not identified until days later and was never reported missing. The mother’s boyfriend, Emiel Hunt, 38, was arrested on suspicion of her murder on Saturday, March 9th. He was found near the San Diego Airport sleeping in his vehicle.
The criminal complaint accuses him on killing the child sometime around March 1, 2019. Hunt was arrested for the brutal abuse of his toddler son in 2005 and spent 12 years in jail. The abuse of the child included feeding the child only canned vegetables and him using meat only as a reward according to court records.
Now her mother, Taquesta Graham, 28, has been booked as the second suspect in her daughter’s murder. Graham has a history of prostitution and enticing a 16-year-old female into prostitution. She is registered as a sex offender.
Graham, Hunt, and 9-year-old Trinity were living in a Santa Fe Springs Motel or in a vehicle during the year leading up to her death. On March 8, 2019, Graham was arrested for an unknown parole violation.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office is expected to file charges on Tuesday or Wednesday for Taquesta Graham.
