LAKE ELSINORE – Lake Elsinore Police responded to a major injury crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV Saturday night. At around 9:35 p.m. a collision occurred on Railroad Canyon just east of Canyon Hills Road.
The reporting party told dispatchers that the motorcyclist was on the ground and was not moving. Upon arrival, they located the Ford Excursion and a motorcycle with the motorcyclist on the ground suffering from major injuries. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
There were no other injuries reported as a result of the collision and the identity of the drivers are not being released at this time. The cause of the investigation remains under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Lake Elsinore Station Traffic Team.
