LAKE ELSINORE – A traffic collision killed one and injured several others on Sunday afternoon. The traffic collision occurred at around 12:13 p.m. on the Eastbound 74 east of Allan Street in Lake Elsinore. When deputies from the Lake Elsinore station arrived they found the two-vehicle traffic collision with debris spread throughout the #1 and #2 eastbound Hwy 74 lanes.
All of the injured parties were transported to a local hospital by ambulance, one of the drivers died at the hospital as a result of his injuries. The identity of the deceased driver is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin. The investigation remains under investigation by the Lake Elsinore Police Traffic Team.
