ONTARIO, Calif. – A 26-year-old Ontario man was arrested for pimping two females, one of them a minor.
On Thursday, June 6, 2019, at around 11:00 a.m., investigators were led to a location in the 3200 block of Centre Lake Drive in the City of Ontario. During the investigation, it was learned that the 16-year-old girl was working as a prostitute for an adult male known to her as “Amen”. The vehicle was stopped and Callender was taken into custody. He was transported to the Ontario Police Department for an interview. A second victim, a 19-year-old woman, was contacted by authorities. They learned that she was actively being prostituted by Callender for several months. Through investigation, they also found evidence that physical force had been used against the 2nd victim.
Callender was booked him into the West Valley Detention Center for felony violations of Human Trafficking, Pimping and Pandering of a Minor as well as Human Trafficking, Pimping and Pandering of an Adult With Force. He is being held in lieu of $1.5 million dollar bail.
Both victims were rescued and provided access to services prior to being safely released to their families.
