BROOKVILLE, PA. – A Victorville man was one of 30 drug dealers charged in $1.6 million crystal meth trafficking operation in North Central Pennsylvania officials said.
Joshua Carson, 32, was one of two California suspects, the other Sonya Pritchard of Bakersfield, who were allegedly involved in shipping over 35 pounds of through the U.S. mail to sell over the past 18 months. These drugs were sold by dozens of dealers in 5 counties. The drugs were shipped from both Arizona and California and were sold throughout the five counties. The shipped drugs produced anywhere from 32,000 and 64,000 ¼ to ½ gram doses.
“When drug traffickers from other states target rural Pennsylvania, our agents will be right here to catch them and shut these networks down,” Attorney General Josh Shapiro said today at a news conference at the Jefferson County Courthouse. “Today’s arrests show how we’re working hand in hand with local, state and federal authorities to help every town get what it needs to take on dangerous drug dealers and keep our communities safe.”
