Palmdale Infant Drowning Death Sparks Homicide Investigation

PALMDALE – Homicide Investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a suspicious drowning death of an infant in the 37700 block of 50th Street East in Palmdale.

At around 9:45 p.m. on Monday, July 4th a black male infant was transported to the local hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.

Homicide detectives are not releasing any additional information at this time. Anyone who believes that they might have information pertinent to the case is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
