SAN JACINTO – A man died after being hit by a car Friday morning while attempting to cross Ramona Expressway near State Street, officials said. At around 5:37 a.m. the San Jacinto police responded to the vehicle versus pedestrian collision. Police learned that the male driver was driving eastbound on Ramona Expressway when he hit the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. Eastbound lanes of Ramona Expressway, just west of State street were closed for the investigation.
