HESPERIA – The Hesperia Unified School District announced on Tuesday afternoon, that due to the Pilot Fire all schools will be closed on Tuesday. The district decided to close the schools after close monitoring of the fire and the air quality.
School officials said that the closure is being done as a precaution because the “latest reports indicate that the fire has moved North”.
At this time, school officials are asking parents/guardians to check for updates on the District website or Facebook page to see when school will re-open. This comes after the announced closure of all Apple Valley Unified School District schools and District offices.
