PINON HILLS – A 55-year-old Pinon Hills man was arrested after the homeowner holds him at gunpoint during an attempted break-in on Friday.
At around 1:49 a.m. suspect Marvin Harper allegedly attempted to break into a home in the 10100 block of Mountain Road in Pinon Hills. The homeowner was inside the home and reported that he observed Harper attempting to break into his home through three different points of entry. The homeowner called 911 and held Harper at gunpoint until deputies arrived.
Harper was arrested for attempted burglary and booked into the High Desert Detention Center where is being held in lieu of $125,000 bail. Harper is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon.
