SAN BERNARDINO – San Bernardino Police are seeking any information regarding a traffic collision and the assault of a sheriff’s deputy.
On New Year’s Eve, at around 10:50 a.m. the San Bernardino County Police responded to the report of a traffic collision at Kendall Drive and University Parkway. Through investigation, it was revealed that the 70-year-old Deputy Larry Falce was driving his personal vehicle when he when he was involved in the traffic collision with the suspect vehicle. Both vehicles stopped and Deputy Falce was struck by the suspect driver.
Deputy Larry Falce sustained substantial injuries and was transported to the hospital. The suspect was located and was taken into custody.
