SAN BERNARDINO – A 70-year-old San Bernardino County Deputy, who was a San Bernardino resident died today as a result of a brutal attack that occurred on New Year’s Eve. Details about the brutal attack are not being released by authorities, nor is the identity of the suspect due to the active investigation.
Deputy Lawrence “Larry” Falce was described by Sheriff’s officials as an honorable man, who began his career as a deputy in 1981, after serving in the U.S. Army. Beginning his career at the Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center and the Central Detention Center for the first four years, Larry then moved on to work at the Central Station as a patrol deputy.
Larry was loved by those he worked with and worked serving in the community. Larry leaves behind his sister, Marjorie and his longtime female companion, Deborah.
