Pregnant Teen Leads to Arrest of 33-Year-Old Hesperia Man

VICTORVILLE – A 33-year-old Hesperia man was arrested by Victorville deputies for unlawful sex with a girl under the age of 16-years-old, officials said.

On Saturday, April 14, 2018, at around 5:50 p.m. deputies went to the home of  Juan Carlos Castro-Munoz, located in the 11200 block of Cottonwood Avenue in the City of Hesperia reference an investigation into the report of illegal sex with a minor. The parents of the girl learned that the two had been having sex after they found out that their young daughter was pregnant. After finding out about the illegal sexual relationship the parents reported Castro-Munoz to authorities.

Although the actual age of the girl is yet to be disclosed, the child is reported to be under the age of 16-years-old. Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez told a 24/7 Headline News reporter that Castro-Munoz was a family friend who was often invited into the family’s home. Castro-Munoz posted bail and was released from custody on Sunday afternoon. He has no court dates scheduled at this time.
