SAN BERNARDINO – A 42-year-old Ontario man will serve 30 days in jail for attempting to pay for sexual acts during an undercover prostitution sting officials said. Poshen Wu was convicted on Tuesday of the single count of Soliciting, Engaging or Agreeing to Engage in Prostitution by Providing Compensation.
Wu searched Backpage.com seeking out a woman for prostitution services, and contacted one offering the “full experience”. He told the woman that his name was “John” and arranged to meet for the 30-minute “full experience” at the cost of $100. The deputy district attorney on the case said that Wu went to the meeting place and attempted to kiss the undercover deputy, apparently attempting to get the full bang for his buck as far as time.
In addition to his sentence, Wu will also be on probation for 3 years.
