PHELAN – A 44-year-old Phelan man was arrested following a warrant search that was a result of a residential burglary investigation.
On Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at around 11:10 a.m. deputies from the Victor Valley Station served a search warrant on a home in the 7300 block of Saratoga Road in Phelan. The search warrant was obtained after the burglary investigation led to Billy Jerome Easter being named as the suspect involved in a residential burglary on January 28, 2018, and February 23, 2018. The victim told authorities that several items were stolen, including his all-terrain vehicle. The all-terrain vehicle was located on Saratoga Road in Phelan on April 4, 2018.
During the search of the home, around $3100.00 of stolen property was located. Easter was arrested for Possession of Stolen Property and was booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
