HESPERIA – A 13-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle near Ranchero Middle School on Thursday. The boy was at the north end of the school near Ranchero Road and Newhall Avenue at around 3:25 p.m. when he was struck by a white Dodge Truck.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Cindy Bachman told a 24/7 Headline News reporter that the driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
The boy was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for an apparent broken leg. No other information is available at this time. Any additional information received will be updated as it is made available.
