RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Ca. – A Rancho Cucamonga resident posted to Facebook sharing clear images and video of their home being broken into on Friday afternoon.
At around 12:49 p.m., according to the Ring Doorbell camera footage, the two suspects walked up to the front door of a home located near West Millikan off of Kenyon in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. The two suspects attempted to pry the front door open. The suspects then went to the backyard and pried it open the sliding glass doors. The resident said that the suspects appeared to have only left with a purse, but no other items.
“We think our big dogs scared them off,” said Alec Bogart, in the Facebook post. “Nobody was home and the house wasn’t ransacked.” The suspects left in a newer gray Audi SUV with a roof rack and no front plate.
Anyone with information about this case or the identity of the suspects is urged to contact the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department (909) 477-2800 . Callers wishing to remain anonymous, call the We-tip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME (27463) or you may leave information at www.wetip.com.
