REDLANDS – A burglary suspect was shot and killed by a responding Redlands Police officer on Sunday night.
At around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018, the Redlands police responded to the report of a residential burglary in the 1600 block of Calvary Circle. Officers arrived within 10 minutes and began searching the home. Soon after officers located a white male suspect and an officer-involved shooting occurred, killing the suspect. No one else was injured as a result of the shooting.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and the Redlands Police Department will be conducting concurrent investigations to ensure the actions were within the department policy.
