APPLE VALLEY – The rider of a motorcycle who collided into a vehicle was airlifted for medical treatment on Monday, July 30, 2018, officials said.
At around 3:32 p.m. deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to the report of the collision on Central and Ottawa Roads in Town of Apple Valley. When deputies arrived, they located the vehicles in the roadway and the rider down in the roadway. The was conscious and complaining of pain. He was transported by air ambulance to a trauma center. The updated condition of the rider is not known.
The accident is under investigation. Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the collision. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Apple Valley Station Traffic Division at (760)240-7400.
