RIVERSIDE – A 22-year-old Riverside man was arrested for mail theft early Wednesday morning the Riverside Police officials said. At around 6:45 a.m. a suspicious vehicle was reported near Sedgewick and University Avenues.
Upon investigation, police learned the vehicle was the same as one that was reported to be involved in a possible mail theft the same morning. The suspect, identified as Esgar Garcia was found to be in possession of credit cards and other items linking him to the mail theft.
Garcia was arrested and booked into jail for mail theft.
