RIVERSIDE – A suspect who was on Post-Release Community Supervision was arrested for shooting out his neighbor’s windows and threatening them.
On Sunday, June 3, 2018, at around 1:20 a.m. Riverside police responded to the report of a shooting in the 9300 block of Shamouti Drive, in the Orangecrest area of Riverside. The reporting party told dispatchers that the suspect was still outside of the victim’s home. Officers quickly arrived and detained Tyler Clarke, a 29-year-old Riverside resident. Officers spoke with the victims and witnesses and learned that Clarke was yelling threats at the victims from the front yard of their home. In addition, he used a BB or pellet gun to shoot out two of their windows.
Clarke was arrested and booked into jail for negligent discharge of a BB device, criminal threats, vandalism, and violation of PRCS.
