RIVERSIDE – A Riverside mother and son were arrested for keeping a pimping, pandering, and keeping a house of ill fame, more commonly known as a “brothel”.
On Friday, May 25, 2018, deputies served a search warrant in the 3600 block of Snowdrift Drive to investigate a report of prostitution services that were being offered on various classified-type websites. Prior to the search they made contact with a woman who told authorities that she had been sexually exploited by a mother and son. Both suspects, Angelene “Barbie” Ashley, 48, and Jordan Ashley, 26, were arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center. Evidence corroborating the reports were collected as evidence.
