RIVERSIDE – A 37-year-old Riverside man was arrested for a stabbing at the Circle One Mart in the 2300 block of University Avenue on Sunday. Officers responded to the 3:30 p.m. report of the stabbing, where the victim was found to be stabbed in the chest. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.
UCR Police officers made contact with the possible suspect near Chicago Avenue and Third Street. Through investigation, Isaac Reyes was connected to the stabbing and was booked into jail for attempted murder, violation of parole and providing false identification.
