RIVERSIDE – Riverside police are asking for the public’s help to identify an alleged child predator. On Wednesday, February 15, 2017, a 6-year-old girl walked toward the restroom at Food 4 Less located at 3900 Chicago Avenue. An unknown white man who was between 60 to 70-years-old attempted to gain the girl’s attention and lure her toward him.
As the approximately 5’10”, 200 pound grey-haired man stood near the men’s restroom he told the small child he would give her a treat. The suspect was last seen wearing a black or otherwise dark colored shirt with white writing. Authorities are releasing surveillance footage hoping that someone will recognize this suspect.
