RIVERSIDE – A traffic stop for a vehicle code violation led to the arrest of two suspects wanted for a San Gabriel Pharmacy burglary. Early Thursday morning the vehicle was stopped in the 1400 block of 7th Street in the City of Riverside. During the stop, the City of Riverside officer determined that both of the occupants in the vehicle were on parole.
The officers conducted a vehicle search, which led to the finding of burglary tools and numerous prescription pill bottles from a San Gabriel Pharmacy. The San Gabriel Police were contacted to see if there had been a burglary reported in their area. The San Gabriel Police confirmed that there had just been a burglary at a pharmacy.
Both suspects and the evidence were taken into custody of the San Gabriel Police.
